Pastor Dan has a unique background (he calls it “eclectic”), coming to pastoral ministry from a successful career that spanned a variety of blue-collar, professional, and managerial positions. As a layman he held many roles in the church, including deacon, youth leader, worship leader, and served on many boards and committees, often as chairman. Because of this background he knows first hand the real-world situations most people live in, and understands both the joys and the challenges of lay ministry. He’s been there!

Pastor Dan is a careful student of Scripture who loves the privilege of teaching, preaching, and helping folks grow in their love of God and their walk with Jesus. He is married to his wife Lauree, and together they have three children and three adorable grandchildren.

The boring details (hey, some people want to know!): Pastor Dan completed undergraduate work at Piedmont Bible College and Gannon University, graduating from the latter with a BS degree in Business Management. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in 2014 from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, was ordained into ministry by his home church (Stewartstown Baptist Church in Stewartstown, PA) the same year and became their Associate Pastor. Late in 2018 he was called to Cohansey Baptist Church as the 34th pastor in our 329 year history.
