Blanket Sunday In February, we collect funds towards blankets and tools to help relieve the suffering of those who are displaced do to war, famine, or disaster. Be sure to watch for envelopes in the pews.
White Cross During the month of April, we collect funds to support this International Ministries’ project, managed by Katherine & Wayne Niles, which provides urgent medical needs in The Democratic Republic of Congo.
Cornerstone Pregnancy Center Every year from Mother’s Day to Father’s Day we collect funds for Cornerstone. They provide free ultrasounds, pregnancy testing, parenting classes, counseling, baby supplies and much more.
One Great Hour of Sharing During June we collect our offering for OGHS. This special offering reaches many people who are experiencing disaster in one form or other. We think our economy is a disaster. If we look beyond ourselves just as near as the next state, or as far as across the sea, we can find a reason to rejoice in our good fortune and see a way to show our love for someone less fortunate. Being a friend is a way to show God’s love. It’s fun to share. And it makes others happy too.
America for Christ This annual offering ministers to families who have lost homes to floods, to children living lives of limitation in poverty, to seminarians preparing to devote their lives to sharing the Good News, and much more. We have been answering God’s call to heal broken families and communities—as well as cultivate strong Christian leaders and equip passionate disciples in the US and Puerto Rico.
