About Us:

Mark Willis- (Co-Chairman) Mark has been a member of Cohansey Baptist Church for 35 years and has served as a deacon for the past 6 years. During his years at Cohansey, he has taught Sunday school and led Bible Youth Fellowship. Mark currently serves as our church music director where he leads the senior choir, hand chime choir, and children’s musicals.  He is married to Sue and they have two grown children.  Mark enjoys serving God and His people while sharing what God places on his heart with those around him.

Ken Perry– (Co-Chairman) Ken was baptized and became a member of Cohansey Baptist in 1966.  Although he has been here for a long time, he is glad to see God still at work.  Ken says, “Whether it is a new believer being baptized or an experienced Christian growing, it’s always good. The best part is, there is always room for one more.” Ken is married to Valerie and they have two grown children.

Evered Levick Jr.- Evered has been a member of Cohansey since 1960 and has served on the deacon board for many years.  Evered is a retired science teacher who now helps manage his son’s nursery and baby-sits for his grandchildren. Evered also enjoys singing in the choir.  He is married to Gloria. They have three children and six grandchildren.

Jere Baker- Jere has been a member of Cohansey since 1985.  Before becoming a deacon, Jere served as an associate deacon for 20 years.  He has also faithfully facilitated our annual Easter pancake breakfast for the past 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoys yard work and spending time with his family.  He has been married to his wife, Nancy, for 31 years and they have two grown children.

Christopher Levick– Chris has attended Cohansey Baptist church all of his life and was baptized in 1991. His lifelong experience at Cohansey has left him with many fond childhood memories.  He recalls exciting times spent with friends during Sunday school and youth group.  Before joining the deacon board, Chris served as an associate deacon for many years.  Outside of church, Chris manages Mayhew Greenhouses & Nursery while owning and operating his own business, Levick Nursery and Farm.  In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing, serving as a volunteer firefighter, and spending time with his family.  Chris has been married to his wife, Andrea, for 13 years and they have 2 young children.
