Pastor David Lingham is a faithful and trusted servant of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
He is the loving husband of Janine Lingham; dedicated father to Chauntae, Dauntae, Marquise, and Amber; and proud grandfather of Gianni, Vivian, Ava, Logan, DJ (Dauntae Jr.), Darryl, Benji, and Manny.
Prior to being called and elected to serve as Pastor of Cohansey Baptist Church of Roadstown, NJ, on April 27th, 2025, David served as Pastor of Home Missions for The Church of the Redeemer Baptist.
In September 2000, Lingham became an ordained deacon at The Church of the Redeemer Baptist. On October 25th, 2015, he was licensed to preach the gospel. On June 17th, 2025, he was ordained by the PBA, America Baptist.
In addition, Rev. Lingham is an adjunct professor of Old Testament and New Testament Theology at Lancaster Bible College. He serves as an adjunct professor at the Apostolic Church International Seminary, leading an international pastor’s cohort as well. He has also taught Church History and Black Church History at the Redeemer Institute for Christian Education (RICE). Pastor Lingham believes a good teacher is also a good student.
A graduate of New Life Bible Institute and Missionary Training School, Lingham received a diploma in Biblical Studies. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree in Bible and Ministry from the Center for Urban Theological Studies (CUTS), where he graduated at the top of his class with Magna Cum Laude honors. Furthering his studies, he then earned a Master of Arts in Religion Degree with a specialization in African American Church Studies (UTI program) from Lutheran Seminary in Philadelphia. Pastor Lingham is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Biblical Leadership at Lancaster Bible College’s Capital Seminary & Graduate School.
